Ruhiang Kiulu Adventure Challenge 2026 Gains Strong Local Support.

KOTA KINABALU: The upcoming Ruhiang Kiulu Adventure Challenge 2026 has received encouraging support from the local business community as preparations intensify for the event scheduled on 29 March 2026 at the Tamparuli Tamu Ground.
Organising Chairman and President of the Sabah Labuan Extreme Sports Fan Club, Steve Johnny Mositun, expressed his appreciation for the in-kind contribution received from a local sports and souvenir company based in Alam Mesra, Kota Kinabalu.
He said such support plays an important role in strengthening grassroots sports development initiatives in Sabah, especially for community-based adventure events like Ruhiang Kiulu Adventure Challenge.
“This support gives us additional motivation and confidence as we move closer to event day. It also reflects the growing collaboration between local sports organisers and Sabah-based brands,” he said.
The event, which incorporates elements of sport tourism and outdoor adventure, has attracted strong early response with more than 300 participants already registered. Organisers confirmed that registration remains open until 6 March 2026.
Ruhiang Kiulu Adventure Challenge 2026 is expected to draw participants from across Sabah, while promoting Tamparuli/Kiulu as a destination for eco-adventure and community sporting events.
